| DAY2 | Tianmen Mountain → Glass Skywalk → Forest Park → Jinbian Creek → Ten-Mile Gallery |
After breakfast, visit the "Tianmen Immortal Mountain," where literary master Jin Yong once effortlessly penned his calligraphy—a breathtaking spot that also served as one of the filming locations for the movie *Love on the Run*, starring Huang Bo and Xu Zheng. Embark on the world’s longest high-altitude cable car system, stretching 7,455 meters at an elevation of 1,279 meters, and experience the thrilling, awe-inspiring sensation of soaring through the clouds. Climb to Yunmeng Xian Ding, the summit of Zhangjiajie, offering panoramic views of the entire region below. Marvel at the enchanting Bonsai Flower Garden, wander through the Bonsai Stone Area, and ascend to Yunmeng Xian Ding itself. The mountain boasts towering, solitary peaks that seem to defy gravity, commanding an unparalleled presence in the sky. It was here that Jeb Corliss, the world’s most renowned wingsuit flyer, once staged his legendary, gravity-defying challenge. Don’t miss the heart-pounding, glass-bottomed Skywalk—perfect for testing your limits at dizzying heights. Deeply rooted in history and rich with cultural heritage, Tianmen Mountain has long been revered by locals as a sacred and divine mountain. Known as the "First Sacred Mountain of Western Hunan" and hailed as the "Soul of Wuling," it holds a special place in the hearts of the local people. Next, journey to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park—the first national forest park established in China, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, and a Global Geopark. Explore the Shili Gallery Scenic Area, where nature unfolds in all its splendor. Walking through this mesmerizing landscape feels like stepping into a living masterpiece: towering rock formations sculpted into lifelike figures—some resembling humans, others animals or mythical creatures—creating an otherworldly atmosphere that leaves you utterly awestruck by Mother Nature’s incredible artistry. Finally, head to Jinbian Creek, where you’ll stroll along the exquisite section of the Jinbian Creek Scenic Area. Surrounded by serene cedar forests, the trail winds gracefully through misty peaks and secluded valleys bathed in ethereal cloudscapes. Crystal-clear waters meander alongside, inviting you to follow their tranquil flow. This is a truly unique travel route that seamlessly blends sightseeing with personal enjoyment—a journey where every step reveals a new, picturesque scene, each turn unveiling another breathtaking vista. As you walk, the gentle murmur of the creek beneath your feet echoes like the delicate melodies of a pipa or guzheng—sometimes lively and cheerful, other times soft and soothing. Conclude your adventure with a visit to Jinbian Creek, celebrated for its remarkable feature: "A thousand years of drought cannot dry up its flow, while ten thousand years of rain keeps its waters crystal clear." Here, the pristine, year-round clarity of the creek makes it a true "Mountain and Water Gallery"—a veritable "Fairyland on Earth." [Friendly Reminder] Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area operates with a real-name reservation system for both tickets and specific time slots. The scenic area is divided into three routes—A, B, and C—each with the same price (A: cable car up & down; B: cable car boarding point to top; C: vehicle to cable car station). Please note that the scenic area has daily ticket quotas, and the actual route assigned will depend on your online reservation and may be adjusted by the景区 based on current conditions. During peak travel seasons, travel agencies and guests cannot choose their preferred route independently. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation. All final decisions regarding itinerary arrangements rest solely with Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area. Each group must follow the route and time slot confirmed through the successful online reservation. Our agency does not accept any complaints related to excessively long queue times or discrepancies between the reserved route and the one ultimately assigned by the scenic area!
| DAY3 | Zhangjiajie Forest Park → Yuanjiajie → Tianzi Mountain |
After breakfast, embark on a second in-depth exploration of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Take the eco-friendly cable car to reach the core scenic area of Yuanjiajie, where you’ll marvel at sights like the "Gathering of Divine Warriors," the "Back Garden," and the "World's First Bridge." Don’t miss the breathtaking filming location for the movie *Avatar*—Hallelujah Mountain—where you can step into the mystical, otherworldly realm of floating mountains and star-studded landscapes straight from the film. Next, visit the mesmerizingly misty and towering peaks of the renowned Mihuntai Scenic Area, known for its awe-inspiring, majestic beauty. Finally, venture into Tianzi Mountain, whose natural splendor can be summed up in one phrase: "Primal Beauty Unspoiled by Time." Every corner of this mountain range exudes an untouched, organic charm, with no trace of artificial embellishment. Here, you’ll discover not only stunning, picturesque scenery but also warm-hearted local traditions, unique folk customs, and delectable ethnic cuisine—all waiting eagerly to welcome visitors. No wonder some say, "Only those who’ve beheld Tianzi Mountain truly understand its majesty; once you’ve seen it, no other mountain compares." Or as another traveler put it: "To visit Zhangjiajie without exploring Tianzi Mountain is to have missed the very essence of Wulingyuan altogether." [Friendly Reminder]: To avoid long queues, we’ve chosen to stagger peak hours for ascending and descending the mountain. The Bailong Elevator, Tianzi Mountain Cable Car, and Yangjiajie Cable Car will be arranged randomly based on current queue conditions, and fees will be charged according to actual usage. Important Notes for Visitors to Wulingyuan Core Scenic Area: **Transportation:** Once inside the scenic area, all transfers between attractions are provided free of charge via eco-friendly shuttle buses operated within the park. These buses are not exclusive to any particular tour group, so it’s possible that members of your group may need to board different vehicles to reach the next attraction. As the park is often crowded with visitors, please make sure to meet at the designated meeting points guided by your tour leader—never wander off alone or leave your belongings behind on the shuttle buses. **Seasonal Crowds:** During peak season, long lines are common. We appreciate your understanding in advance! **Footwear:** Zhangjiajie is primarily a mountainous region. For ease of exploring the trails, we recommend wearing flat-heeled shoes. Skirts are also not advised. Additionally, please bring along personal items such as rain gear, sun hats, and film cameras. **Safety Tips:** - The scenic area is home to numerous monkeys. Please keep a safe distance from monkey groups and absolutely avoid touching or approaching wild animals on the mountain to prevent potential injuries. - Be aware that temperature differences between morning/night and daytime can be significant. Check the day’s weather forecast and carry extra layers to stay comfortably warm. - **Please refrain from climbing or scaling structures within the park at will**, as this could pose safety risks.
| DAY4 | Furong Town → Xiangxi Miao Village → Cuixi Experience Hall → Fenghuang Ancient Town |
After breakfast, head to the "millennial ancient town suspended above a waterfall"—Furong Town, originally known as Wangcun. This historic gem boasts over 2,000 years of history, renowned for its majestic waterfall that winds through the town—and made famous worldwide after the film *Furong Town* was shot here. Highlights include Wangcun Waterfall, the Chastity Archway, and the ancient stone-paved streets. Don’t miss the chance to savor Liu Xiaoqing’s signature rice tofu at your own expense. Next, journey by vehicle to the picturesque Xiangxi Miao Village, where you’ll experience the essence of Miao culture: only after singing heartfelt songs, sharing a toast, and beating the drum can you truly step into this pristine, mystical ancient Miao village. Here, the “Ganzin Camp” barracks and the ancient beacon towers echo with the weight of history, reflecting the Miao people’s deep-rooted love for their homeland and their unwavering commitment to ethnic unity. In the afternoon, visit a local tea farmer’s home to sample organic tea—particularly the renowned Guzhang Maojian green tea. Along the way, make a stop at the Xiangxi Jade Art & Craft Museum, located along the essential route leading to the region’s acclaimed 5A scenic spot. This museum is part of a government-led investment project, showcasing exquisite examples of traditional craftsmanship, including intricate stone carvings, brickwork, woodcarvings, lacquer-thread sculptures, and delicate paper-cutting artistry. You’ll also learn about Jishou, the capital city of Xiangxi, which serves as a vital trade hub connecting the region to the wider world. In the evening, travel onward to the breathtaking Phoenix Ancient Town—the most enchanting setting penned by the celebrated writer沈從文. Known for its poignant beauty that tugs at the heartstrings, Phoenix transforms into a mesmerizing dreamscape under the night sky. Whether you’re lost in quiet melancholy, gently touched by fleeting joy, or simply basking in serene tranquility, wandering through the town’s winding alleys feels like stepping into a timeless fairy tale. As you weave through the bustling crowds, seek out a charming riverside teahouse or bar, perhaps perched beneath the iconic Rainbow Bridge or nestled inside one of the graceful stilted houses along the riverbank. Enjoy a solitary drink or gather with friends and family—no matter how you choose to unwind, Phoenix Ancient Town promises to fulfill your deepest desires, offering an unforgettable, otherworldly escape that lingers long after you leave. [Friendly Reminder] 1. Starting from January 1, 2021, Phoenix County has launched a paid shuttle service within the county seat. The shuttle fee is 28 yuan per person, payable directly by passengers. 2. Phoenix Ancient Town is an open-style commercial area accessible to the public. While tour guides voluntarily provide information on local specialty products, shopping decisions remain entirely up to individual travelers. Travel agencies will not accept any complaints regarding shopping experiences in the Phoenix area. (Please note that Phoenix Ancient Town does not include admission tickets for the Nine Scenic Spots; if ticket prices change due to government policy adjustments, visitors are responsible for covering the additional costs.) 3. The scenic area tends to be crowded, so please stay close to your group and keep an eye on your tour guide. We recommend against traveling alone. 4. Due to traffic restrictions in Phoenix, tourist vehicles may sometimes be required to park only at designated spots, leaving you to walk to your hotel. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated!
