# ITINERARY
| DAY 1 | Depart from Various Locations (by Flight) to Kunming | |
| Today, you will take a flight from your beautiful hometown to Kunming, known as the "Spring City". Upon arriving in this unfamiliar city, there's no need to worry about getting lost. Our professional staff will greet you with the warmest smiles at the airport. We will arrange a private car to take you safely to the hotel, and a dedicated person will handle the complicated check-in procedures—you only need to wait for a moment to check in smoothly. The whole-process barrier-free airport pick-up allows you to experience the warmth and thoughtfulness of one-stop service. [Sign the travel contract upon arrival at the hotel] | ||
| DAY 2 | Kunming (by High-Speed Train) to Dali - Dali Ancient Town - Open-Top Jeep / Internet-Famous S-Bend Check-In Spot | |
| After breakfast at the hotel, gather in the lobby and take a high-speed train to Dali (the train time is subject to the actual ticket issuance time). Visit Dali Ancient Town for free activities: the ancient town is square-shaped with four gates— the East Gate faces Erhai Lake, the West Gate overlooks Cangshan Mountain, the South Gate is the most important of the four, and the words "Dali" on the city gate were written by Guo Moruo. As for the North Gate, not far outside it stands the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple. There is also the world-famous Foreigner Street. Take an open-top jeep through the idyllic scenery to tour Erhai Lake. No matter how time passes, never forget the vigor of youth—experiences in youth will be engraved in your heart and cherished forever. Take photos in the flower sea (with aesthetic poses using props like glass balls and white tables) and visit the internet-famous S-Bend check-in spot. Later, proceed to the hotel for rest. | ||
| DAY 3 | Cruise to Jinsuo Island - Santorini (Dali) - Lijiang - Free Activities in Dayan Ancient Town (Complimentary "Lishui Golden Sands" Performance) | |
| After breakfast, gather at the hotel and head to Jinsuo Island to take a cruise. Jinsuo Island is the most renowned and largest of the three islands in Erhai Lake, boasting rich historical and cultural heritage as a treasure of Erhai civilization with a history of 5,000 years. It is the site of the Nanzhao King's summer palace and the birthplace of the 100-person dragon boat race. Its fishing culture is unique, and its fishing scenery has been named one of China's Beautiful Countryside by the Ministry of Agriculture. Later, go to Dali Santorini (Lixiangbang Town), which is located along the East Lake Ring Road on the east bank of Erhai Lake. The town is built along the natural mountain slope—flowers and plants are planted on both sides of the town's lanes, and the streets wind poetically. Walking through it feels like a dream, bringing great enjoyment. Except for the absence of a blue-domed church, the town is basically a Chinese version of Santorini. Take a car to Lijiang; in the evening, you can visit Lijiang, a world cultural heritage city, and explore Dayan Ancient Town, which is surrounded by three rivers and shaped like an official seal, "exercising authority over all directions". You can tour the ancient town freely, taste local snacks on your own (dinner is at your own expense), and visit Naxi murals, the big water wheel, and Sifang Street. Immerse yourself in the scenery of "small bridges, flowing water, and family homes", experience Naxi customs, savor the unique style of Lijiang's bar street, and stroll through the streets to enjoy the unique ancient town scene of "every household has a stream around the house, and every house has willows that outshine the south of the Yangtze River". The complimentary "Lishui Golden Sands" performance showcases the customs and spirits of Lijiang's ethnic minorities and their branches in the form of dance, featuring gorgeous and changing colors and beautiful and innovative dance moves. Later, check in to the hotel for rest. | ||
| DAY 4 | Silversmith Village - First Bend of the Yangtze River - Tiger Leaping Gorge - Dukezong Ancient Town - Tibetan Chieftain Feast | |
| Have breakfast at the hotel and visit Xinhua Handicraft Inheritance Art Town in Yunnan, China—a vital town on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The town is located at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain in the northwest of Heqing County, Dali Prefecture, only about 10 kilometers away from Lijiang Airport and the high-speed rail station. In 2019, it was named a "Yunnan Provincial Characteristic Art Town" by the People's Government of Yunnan Province. Later, head to Shangri-La, passing by the First Bend of the Yangtze River Observation Deck. Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, known as the "world's most spectacular gorge" (warm reminder: the tour takes about 90 minutes. Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the world's famous grand canyons and one of China's deepest canyons, renowned for its "dangerous terrain"). Upon arriving in Shangri-La, visit Dukezong Ancient Town—its architectural layout resembles an eight-petal lotus, with Moonlight Square at the center and ancient Tibetan-style wooden houses surrounding it one after another. At the top of Guishan Park stands the world's largest prayer wheel, which is listed in the Guinness World Records and requires three people to work together to turn it. On the northwest side of Guishan Park lies Sifang Street, where Tibetan Guozhuang dances attract a large number of tourists every night. If you happen to encounter it, be sure to join in the joy. In the evening, attend the most distinctive Tibetan song and dance performance—the Tibetan Chieftain Feast. Experience Tibetan food culture and enjoy original ecological songs and dances to make your journey joyful (including highland barley wine, butter tea, highland barley, tsampa, cheese, and song and dance performances). Later, check in to the hotel for rest. | ||
| DAY 5 | Shangri-La Prayer Wheel - Characteristic Tibetan Building - Mandala - Pudacuo National Forest Park - Drive Back to Lijiang / Free Activities in Dayan Ancient Town | |
| After breakfast, gather at the hotel and visit the characteristic Tibetan building in Shangri-La to learn about Tibetan cultural life. Then go to the Mandala, which is the dojo of the Panchen Lama, the most important Living Buddha in the Tibetan area (the tour takes about 90 minutes). The dojo enshrines a magnificent golden Mandala inlaid with seven Tibetan secret treasures—it is the world's largest and most fully consecrated three-dimensional golden Mandala, which was personally consecrated and named by the Panchen Lama. The Kalachakra Mandala is a necessary ritual object for practicing Kalachakra Tantric methods, and Kalachakra means "wheel of time". The dojo also enshrines a 21-meter-high and 20-ton Kalachakra Buddha statue. Pudacuo National Forest Park is an important part of the "Three Parallel Rivers" world natural heritage, mainly composed of Bitahai Lake, Shudu Lake, and Militang Subalpine Pasture. Tour Shudu Lake and Bitahai Lake—there are scenic spots such as Luorong Village and Militang Grassland between the two lakes. After returning to Lijiang, check in to the hotel for rest. | ||
| DAY 6 | Lijiang - Lugu Lake - Observation Deck - Lover's Beach - Pigsty Boat - Zouhun Banquet (Walking Marriage Banquet) - Bonfire Party | |
| After breakfast, gather at the hotel and take a car to Lugu Lake, the legendary "Kingdom of Women". Upon arrival, visit the Lugu Lake Observation Deck. | ||
| DAY 7 | Lugu Lake Sunrise - Grass Sea / Walking Marriage Bridge - Mosuo Family Visit - Drive Back to Lijiang | |
| After breakfast, gather at the hotel to watch the Lugu Lake sunrise—witness the golden rays of the sun spreading over the surface of Lugu Lake, with the mist on the lake dancing in the sunlight and lingering between the mountains and waters. Enjoy this rare moment of tranquility. After the viewing, return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, set out to visit the Sichuan 10,000-Mu Grass Sea (Lugu Lake Grass Sea), which is located on the southeast side of Lugu Lake. Due to long-term sediment accumulation, the lake water here is relatively shallow, so dense reeds grow. One-third of the way into the Grass Sea stands a "Magpie Bridge"—the Walking Marriage Bridge. When the breeze blows, the flying catkins rise, like snow-white petals scattered by the Seven Fairies. Experience this beautiful scene! Later, participate in an important activity of the Mosuo matriarchal family—experience Mosuo culture and customs to learn about its long history. The Mosuo people by Lugu Lake practice the "walking marriage" custom where "men do not marry and women do not marry". After the experience, lunch will be arranged. Then take a car back to Lijiang, ending the pleasant Lugu Lake trip! | ||
| DAY 8 | Lashi Lake - Jade Dragon Snow Mountain / Yunshanping Small Cableway - Shuhe Ancient Town - High-Speed Train to Kunming | |
| After breakfast, gather at the hotel and visit Lashi Lake Scenic Area, an important post on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. Now it is the back garden of Lijiang—every village by the lake has opened a horse farm, making it an excellent place for horse riding, boating, and bird watching in Lijiang. [Horse riding fee at your own expense: CNY 260 per person] Note: Guests who do not participate in the optional horse riding activity can enjoy free activities around the horse farm. The Ancient Tea Horse Road on the mountain is only open to guests who participate in the optional activity—please be informed. Head to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area, known as the "Museum of Modern Glaciers". Here, there is also Ganhaizi, an alpine pasture covered with grass and flowers, and Baishui River, which looks like a white river. Take the Yunshanping Small Cableway (Jade Dragon Snow Mountain has a relatively high altitude—if you need oxygen or warm clothes, please consult the tour guide and purchase them at your own discretion) up to Yunshanping, and enjoy the scenery of this alpine primeval forest along the way. Later, go to Blue Moon Valley, known as the "Fairy's Remaining Field" (excluding the battery car fee of CNY 60 per person). Previously known as "Baishui River" (White Water River), Blue Moon Valley gets its name because on sunny days, the water is blue and the valley is crescent-shaped, looking like a blue moon inlaid at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from a distance. Later, visit Shuhe Ancient Town, China's most distinctive ancient town (free activities). Shuhe Ancient Town is not as large as Sifang Street in Lijiang Ancient Town (Dayan Ancient Town); it consists of a square square surrounded by old houses and several small streets around it. It is also the center of the local market—shops stand around, making it quite lively. The buildings around the square have an antique style. Jiuding Longtan is the source of the streams in the ancient town, located by the mountain and river. There are two upper and lower semicircular stone ponds with crystal-clear water, surrounded by green trees. In the afternoon, take a car to Lijiang and then a high-speed train back to Kunming (the specific high-speed train time is subject to the actual ticket issuance time). Upon arrival, you will be picked up and taken to the hotel for check-in and rest. | ||
| DAY 9 | Return Trip & Airport Drop-Off | |
| After breakfast, gather at the hotel and visit the largest flower market in Asia. Airport drop-off will be arranged according to the flight time, ending the pleasant journey! | ||
